On April 26, 2010, we went to Boracay Island in Malay, Aklan, Philippines. We went to Boracay for a day only so we just commuted. We went to Caticlan and took a boat ride for a certain fee from Caticlan Port to Cagban Port in Boracay Island. Other than the boat fare itself, we still paid a terminal fee and an environmental fee.

Once we arrived at the Cagban Port in Boracay Island, we took a tricycle ride going to D’Mall Boracay. The tricycle fare was on a per person basis. If I remember it right, you can read the information about it at the port. So look around for any information.

I was supposed to write about our escapade in Boracay Island during my Spring vacation in the Philippines this year but my attention was caught by this Yahoo! headline, “Mystery star at Emmys explained”. So I read the news and found out about the HBO movie “Temple Grandin” starring Claire Danes, Julia Ormond, Catherine O’Hara and David Strathairn.

Pandan celebrated its Tugbong Festival from April 21 to 25, 2010. I arrived on April 22, 2010 in Pandan, Antique, Philippines. There was an affair at the town plaza but I just wanted to rest so I did not go out anymore. I just spent my time relaxing at home.

The next day, we went to Malumpati Cold Spring Resort. Malumpati is located in Pandan, Antique, and only a few kilometers away from home.

I went on vacation to the Philippines on April 21, 2010. I was supposed to fly on April 18, 2010 but the flight was cancelled because of the ash fall due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland. So, the flight was rescheduled to April 21, 2010. I was not even sure if I will really be able to go to the Philippines. Fortunately, everything went fine and I was able to spend my Spring vacation in the Philippines.
