What’s your True Color?

Monday, April 10, 2006 @ 11:33 am by Sofie Hofmann

My niece sent me this email about the “What’s your True Color?” test from Tickle. This morning, I took this so-called test just for fun. I already tried 2 “tests” at least from Tickle before this, but taking these so-called tests is simply a diversion. How reliable do you think are these “tests”? For me, it doesn’t matter if the result is positive or somewhat negative. I can get an idea from it and perhaps you can too, and analyze if you are really that kind of person. The person who knows the real you is you yourself, not these so-called tests. You can actually fake this kind of “test”. It’s a multiple choice “test”. You are most likely going to click an answer that is not really what you want as an answer but because you have no other choice, you just click one which is close to what you probably think, feel and do.

One thing is for sure, the site Tickle is getting a lot of traffic (quite imaginative and good marketing). These so-called tests are there to “tickle” your mind. It’s actually fun if you like the result, if not, then just treat it as a help in improving your personality.

I like the result I got but it’s not really 100% true. :) Do you like yours?

Your true color is Brown!

You’re brown, a credible, stable color that’s reminiscent of fine wood, rich leather, and wistful melancholy. Most likely, you’re a logical, practical person ruled more by your head than your heart. With your inquisitive mind and insatiable curiosity, you’re probably a great problem solver. And you always gather all of the facts before coming to a timely, informed decision. Easily intrigued, you’re constantly finding new ways to challenge your mind, whether it’s by reading the newspaper, playing a trivia game, or composing a piece of music. Brown is an impartial, neutral color, which means you tend to see the difference between fact and opinion easily and are open to many points of view. Trustworthy and steady, you really are a brown at heart.

What’s Your True Color? Brought to you by Tickle.

Just to let you know, with no relevance at all, brown is not my favorite color. :)

And… I didn’t sign anything in Tickle site for any potential earnings. I’m doing this for fun.

I was not paid to advertise Tickle. :)

Hi ***, I enjoy taking tests too. As you may already know, testing is my job and though technically speaking there are a lot of questions on these tests available on line, what the heck i am having fun doing them. I took the tickle iq test and they told me that i am one of those who got the highest score!

  2. Hey Kit, it was really fun taking those tests. I also took that iq test and the result was superb. Hahaha… I was suprised! I can’t remember the other one. I didn’t register before so the only result appearing in my account now is the result of this test.
