Fruits, Flowers and Plants

Wednesday, August 23, 2006 @ 2:44 pm by Sofie Hofmann

I was too busy for the past few days that I couldn’t even bring myself to write something here. I need a break right now and thought of posting these photos of fruits, flowers and plants that I took last month at the place of Hedi and Ernst. We were invited for a grill dinner by Hedi and Ernst, our former ever nice neighbors at the old apartment where we used to live, also here in Weggis.

Apricots

Apricot Tree

I ‘d like to mention that the apricot tree is almost “hugging” the wall of the house of Hedi and Ernst.

Forgot the name of these plants and flowers, have to get back to this later

Bees

The bees were just unmindful of me taking photos of the plants, and them with the plants as well. It seems that they loved and enjoyed it there. I wonder what they were “thinking” and “feeling” at that moment. Perhaps, elated and satisfied that they found something to satiate them? :)

Lavender

Erich especially pointed to me those lavenders, as usual, its fragrance, it really smelled good. You can read about Lavender at Wikipedia, to know the usefulness of the plants and its flowers.

Salamat cheH!

Thanks eloi! Ok na lang yan, photography as a hobby is more fulfilling but I hope to improve it as well if I really have that skill. Pero alam mo, one time may sumulat sa akin na isang UK based newspaper, asking about a photo of Weggis, e wala akong latest photo, di ko kaagad nasagot yong email niya, yon pala, the day after ng email niya sa akin, doon niya kailangan yong pictures. :)
