Trip to Lucerne, Switzerland

Monday, November 6, 2006 @ 11:40 pm by Sofie Hofmann

We went to the city of Lucerne, the tourist capital of Switzerland, on November 02, 2006. We just rode a boat from Weggis to Lucerne. The boat left Weggis at 2:02 pm and arrived in Lucerne at 2:38 pm. It was a sunny day but it was also very cold, probably between 0 and 5 degrees centigrade.

The train left Lucerne at 6:42 pm and arrived in Kuessnacht am Rigi at 6:57 pm. Then, we rode a bus from Kuessnacht am Rigi to Weggis. The bus left at 7:02 pm and arrived in Weggis at 7:18 pm.

Lucerne, Switzerland

We will have to go back to Lucerne. Well, my mother and my niece don’t have any pictures with the Water Tower nor at the Chapel Bridge, the famous landmark of Lucerne.

Indeed, an afternoon in Lucerne was not at all enough if you want to roam around the city.
