Malumpati Cold Spring Resort
The barangay fiesta was over, some people have a hang-over, but not me. I did not attend the beach party of Baybay on the second night as I planned to go to Malumpati the next day just to unwind and relax before leaving for Manila. As usual, it was bonding time with my big family.

Malumpati Cold Spring is one of the nice places in Pandan we never forget to go to for a day excursion. We would frequent this place especially if it’s hot just for a nice swim in this natural pool of cold spring water.
Malumpati was just about 15-20 minutes from our place. So even if we got up a little bit late, it did not really matter. Even if Malumpati was very near, we still brought some food for lunch and snacks.
Once we arrived in Malumpati, we had our lunch right away at the cottage. Afterwards, the children left immediately for a swim. The adults stayed at the cottage for a chat.
We could have stayed at home for that, but well, Malumpati was just the place to be at that time. The air was so cool and fresh. And for those who went swimming, the water was so refreshing for a hot summer day in the Philippines.

It was indeed another fun day! Oh, by the way, Malumpati is also called Malumpati Health Spring and Tourist Resort and believed to have medicinal properties for healing. Pandananons are not the only ones frequenting this place but other people as well from different towns in Antique.
