Scottish Borders Tourist Route to Edinburgh

As I was saying in my last blog entry, we followed the Scottish Borders Tourist Route via A7 to Edinburgh and the Lothians. That was the nicest thing about having a road trip with our own car. We were able to see the beautiful sceneries of the place on our way to our next destination. We we were able to stop anytime we liked and just enjoyed the ride without really minding the time.

So, let me show you some pictures of the beautiful rolling hills and valleys of the Scottish Borders Tourist Route via A7 on the way to Edinburgh and the Lothians. Let me show you too some pictures of a few of the towns where we passed. Imagine yourself being inside the car, unaware of all what’s happening in you surroundings. Just enjoy the calm panoramic views of the Scottish Borders and the Lothians despite the occasional heavy rain.

Yes, that is right, it rained heavily on certain areas so I was not really able to get a lot of photos. It was not easy taking photos with all the rain pouring on the windshield of the car.
