Hub and I went on vacation in May 2009 in the Philippines because we celebrated my mother’s 80th birthday.
But before going home to Pandan, Hub and I played golf first and visited other places too in the Philippines.
We played golf at the Riviera Golf and Country Club and Canlubang Golf and Country Club in Laguna and Cavite respectively.
After a few days in Manila, we went to Bohol and stayed at Bohol Beach Club in Panglao Island.
After Bohol, we went to Boracay and stayed at the Boracay Mandarin along White Beach Boracay. During our short stay in Boracay, we did not miss going up to Mount Luho, the highest point in Boracay Island.
Our mother’s 80th birthday celebration was not that grand. We started the celebration with a mass at the nice chapel of the Holy Family.
The birthday celebration was simple but meaningful enough for all of us as she was able to celebrate it with her family and friends. We were tremendously happy as we were able to celebrate the 80th birthday of our beloved mother.
