Wynn Macau, Macau Peninsula, Macau
After our lunch at the Grand Lisboa during our Macau Day Tour on May 30, 2009, we went to another casino hotel, to Wynn Macau. We were lucky enough because just when we arrived at Wynn Macau, the choreographed performance lake started.
The dancing fountain was very entertaining even at day time. But I had the feeling that it was even probably more exciting if we saw it during night time. Unfortunately, we just went to Macau for a day tour instead of staying overnight as originally planned.

After watching the dancing fountain at the performance lake, we went inside the casino hotel. We actually planned to eat desserts at the Wynn Macau but there were no vacant seats at one of those restaurants and bars that was to our liking located near the shops and also near the lobby.
We tried to look for another restaurant or coffee shop where we could eat but we ended up going inside the gaming room passing by several signature shops along the hallway.
While I was taking pictures near the shops along the hallway before entering the gaming room, a guy came out of Prada shop and told me that it was not allowed to take pictures in front of the shop. I was surprised and just smiled. I still took some photos anyway but a little bit far from Prada.
When we were about to enter the main casino, the gaming room, the guard stopped us and told Hub to get the bag on his back because it looked like a backpack to him. We told him that it was a camera bag but we were told to carry it with hands like a normal bag.
Again, we were surprised. We did not know about those rules for the reason that we did not see anything regarding the rules before entering the main casino.
When we were inside the gaming room, the guy from the shop who told me that it was not allowed to take pictures in front of the shop saw us again. He kept on smiling at us. He probably thought that he should have not been rude to us when I was taking some pictures in front of the shop.
The walk was short around the casino hotel so we did not really see a lot at Wynn Macau. We did not even see the iconic golden Tree of Prosperity and the Dragon of Fortune.
The iconic golden Tree of Prosperity with over 2,000 branches and 98,000 leaves composed of 24-karat gold leaf and brass leaf is a symbol of auspiciousness.
The Dragon of Fortune symbolizes vitality, good fortune and well-being. The Dragon emerges in a rolling fog and rises to a height of 28 feet, featuring an animated head complete with glowing eyes and smoke billowing from its nostrils.
Well, we also ended up not eating at Wynn Macau. The reason why we left Macau early was because we got hungry and we did not like to look for another place where we could eat or go back to Grand Lisboa.
But before we left, we again had the chance to see the dancing fountain at the performance lake. We just finished watching the show and then left Wynn Macau at past 4:00pm.

Wynn Macau is a luxury integrated resort, the first Las Vegas-style integrated resort in Asia. Wynn Macau is located along Rua Cidade de Sintra just across the Casino Lisboa.
