Rosslare Golf Club, Rosslare, Co. Wexford & Rosslare Harbour, Co. Wexford, Ireland
We left Tramore, Co. Waterford on July 17, 2009 via Passage East, Waterford Harbour, Co. Waterford, Ireland and Ballyhack, Co. Wexford, Ireland back to Rosslare Harbour. We arrived at around 12:40pm in Rosslare Harbour, Co. Wexford, Ireland.
We went first to Rosslare Europort and bought a ticket for the car ferry for our trip the next day. After we bought the ticket, we checked-in at the Harbour View Hotel in Rosslare Harbour overlooking the Rosslare Europort.

After we checked-in at the Harbour View Hotel, we went to Rosslare Golf Club along Rosslare Strand in Rosslare, Co. Wexford, Ireland. We left Harbour View Hotel at around 1:38pm and arrived at Rosslare Golf Club at around 1:50pm.
People at the Rosslare Golf Club were very nice and accommodating. We did not reserve for a tee time but they really looked at the schedule so we were able to play golf at the Rosslare Golf Club Links.
They could have just said no because the golf course was busy as there was a tournament, but no, they did not say no. They really looked at the schedule and squeezed us in between other flights when they saw that they can still accommodate two persons.
They asked us if we could be ready by 2:16pm and we said yes. Good thing, we were fast in preparing our things. Thanks goodness! We have been playing golf on parkland golf courses and on our last golf day during that Ireland Golf Summer Vacation, we wanted to play at a links course.
Rosslare Golf Club was an 18-Hole Championship Links Course. It was never easy playing in a links course because of the wind and high grasses. There were not a lot of trees except on Hole 1, Hole 2, and Hole 18 but being not precise on a links course could mean lost ball.
Rosslare Golf Club, in my opinion, was a very nice golf course but also a difficult links course to play. It was not at all forgiving because the fairways were narrow but we still enjoyed our golf game.
People at the flights in front of us were very nice and friendly. They let us played through. We probably overtook at least three flights in front of us.
We finished playing golf at around 6:15pm. Despite the traffic at the golf course, we played the 18-Hole Championship Links Course reasonably.
We left Rosslare Golf Club at around 7:40pm but passed by the beach area first before going back to the Harbour View Hotel in Rosslare Harbour.

We arrived at the hotel at 7:58pm and had our dinner at the Mail Boat in Harbour View Hotel. It looked like that the Mail Boat Bar and Bistro was very popular even among the locals. The Mail Boat was such a busy restaurant, maybe because the food was also good.
The Harbour View Hotel was very convenient as it was very near Rosslare Europort. We especially checked-in at the Harbour View Hotel just to make sure that we will not miss the car ferry at 8:00am the next day from Rosslare Harbour to Fishguard, Wales.
The next day, we left Rosslare Harbour and took Stena Line’s Stena Express Fast Ferry from Rosslare Europort going to Fishguard, Wales.
