Lucerne is a city in central Switzerland and the capital of the canton of Lucerne. It is also known as the tourist capital of Switzerland. Lucerne is quite very popular because of its Chapel Bridge and Water Tower aside from its location, being on the shore of Lake Lucerne or “Vierwaldstaettersee”.

We went to Einsiedeln on November 05, 2006 to see the Benedictine Abbey of Einsiedeln which is also known as the Einsiedeln Abbey or “Kloster Einsiedeln“. Since it was on a Sunday, we were fortunate enough that there was no mass when we arrived there at past 1:00 pm.

We had a sightseeing tour of the lake of Brienz on November 04, 2006 and part of it was an afternoon break in Interlaken. After we left Brienz, we proceeded to Interlaken, had some coffee and chocolate and desserts at the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel and Spa.
