Yesterday, November 16, 2006, we went to Neuhausen in Schaffhausen to see “Der Rheinfall”. Rheinfall is the largest waterfall in Europe. The Rhine Falls are the largest plain waterfalls in Europe. Rheinfall and Rhine Falls are one and the same. Rheinfall, in German language, is singular and masculine unlike the Rhine Falls.

The night before yesterday, Erich thought of going to the Swiss Italian speaking part as it was reported that it would be foggy here in Weggis. It turned out that the weather forecast yesterday morning, November 15, 2006, was that, it would be foggy too at the area near Lago Maggiore.

On November 13, 2006, when I saw that the sky was blue and the clouds were white, I asked my mother and niece if they wanted to go up to Mt. Rigi. They said yes right away because the weather was quite nice. Little did we know that the weather could change so abruptly once up in Mt. Rigi.

We just stayed in Weggis on November 12, 2006. We went first to the church to attend the mass at 9:00 am, then went to watch the “Folklore Show” at 10:30 am, and finally, watch the parade at past 2:00 pm as part of the Farmers’ Festival Weggis or popularly known as “Sennenchilbi Weggis” 2006.
