Swiss National Football Team
The Switzerland National Football Team is back. A lot of Swiss are sad because the Swiss Team lost against Ukraine last night. I may not have seen all the games and how they played but I have the impression that they played well based on what I’ve heard and what I’ve read.
Just getting qualified to the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany was tough enough already considering that it was the second time that the Swiss National Football Team made it to Round 2 after 1960. The first time that the Swiss National Football Team got qualified up to Round 2 after 1960 was in 1994.

It was indeed a sorry loss.
It was really sad. Watching TV the next day, I even shed some tears when I saw some of the Swiss crying while being interviewed after the game.
