The way Baby Rayu smiles
Today, I received some pictures of Baby Rayu from his mom. Baby Rayu’s mom is my niece. Baby Rayu is the youngest among my grandchildren. Wooh! Me? A grandmother?
Well, literally, a grandaunt but it doesn’t sound good to me nor the word grandmother. Hub and I would always tease each other, that he would call me “Lola”, Filipino for grandmother, and I would tease him by calling him “Lolo”, Filipino for grandfather. Guess what I told them to call me? Mama Sofie! 
The last time I saw Baby Rayu, who was not even a year old then, was last May 2006 before I left for Switzerland. That’s his picture above which I took on April 20, 2006. See another photo of his at my previous entry, I am back from the Philippines. Now, he’s already more than 1 year old and can already walk. He can even talk a little bit. I really miss that cute little healthy baby! Look at the way he smiles! Did you notice his hair too? They just cut his hair. See the photos below that his mom sent me.

Hi Eloi! Hehehe… seguro pag nalagay ko na sa travel section yong mga pics sa Philippines noong January 2006 at April 2006. For sure nandoon kayo sa isa sa mga pics ko noon pag-uwi ko ng April 2006. Kulang na kulang yong oras ko, di ko tuloy-tuloy maayos yong personal album ko. Pag naayos ko na yon, makikita rin nila ang beauty ng mom ni baby rayu… hahaha…
wow, ang cute talaga ng apo mo hahaha…. does he have some foreign blood in him? he looks Italian! actually, parang ganyan ang features ng niece ko nung baby pa sya. musta na sofie? balang araw mag kikita rin tayo sa skype hahaha…
Hi Atinna! Oo nga, di na tayo nakakapag-usap sa skype. Tagal na no? Kumusta ka na nga ba? Buti na lang may blog, so may update kahit papaano. Kaya nga I’m blogging too kasi bibihira ko na ring makausap yong ibang mga friends ko, pero they’re not blogging naman at bibihira rin seguro silang nagbabasa ng blog ko, baka nga hindi pa e. Hahaha… Tong blog na to will tell them that I’m still alive and kicking kung sakaling mabasa man nila kasi I’m updating this naman, not everyday, but at least as often as I can.
Naku lola na ako. Ilang taon na yan. Eldest apo ko yata sa isang niece ko e, seguro 6 years old na. Ayaw ko ngang magpatawag na lola.
Parehong pinoy ang parents ni Baby Rayu. Naghalohalo na seguro yong filipino, chinese and spanish blood, kaya ganyan ang resulta. Pero napagkakamalang anak ng puti at may nagtanong pa kung anak ko siya dahil nga kay Hub.

if I remember it right, parang nabasa ko na second name ni Ally pareho ng name ko. Tukayo ko ba yang si Ally? Not so sure e.

Naalala ko rin nga na iba yong spelling e. Naghanap ako uli kung may entry ka about Ally, for sure meron. Siempre naman ano.
Nabasa ko yon, nong ipinanganak mo siya. Nainggit na naman ako. Hehehe… I think nabasa ko yong pangalan sa blog ni Atinna. Dahil Sophie nga, nabisita ko yang particular page na yan. Napaka-healthy naman! Cute2!

Hay naku, that baby really have a nice smile. At sinabi mo pa, ang kilay, grabe, napapansin talaga. Sweet pa yang batang yan. Nakakamiss nga e.
