Winter is not yet over
Winter is not yet over. Yes, astronomically speaking, it’s still Winter and it snowed here two nights ago. I actually have been waiting for it. I have wanted to take pictures and videos of Weggis in 360 degrees from the Hilltop in Winter time. But I normally don’t go to the Hilltop during Winter as it is really cold on that area especially if the wind is strong.

Well, I went out. It was cold and the wind was indeed strong at the Hilltop but I enjoyed taking photos and videos. I enjoyed watching the kids playing on the snow with their sledges. It was really fun watching them sledging. They were really enjoying even if they have to go up all the time after a few minutes of going down using the sledge.

If you like to see Weggis in 360 degrees, you can watch 360° Weggis in Winter at Weggis.net.
I just love snow! How about you, do you love snow too like I do?

Thanks for sharing this - coming from Norway, I felt almost like home you know - great to see the children having so much fun!
Thanks also for taking us in this round trip at the Alps and the mountains (including the land mark tree!) in the vid. It was great and one could hear the fresh, crispy air
Thanks for the visit at my snow report from Oslo too - but you have much more than us - I envy you!
Wishing you a great weekend too - with lots of fun in the snow

Hi Sofie - what wonderful photos you have. I have just found your site from my Dear Friend Renny (Terrella.no). I can’t believe my eyes. Well I can sort of. I knew you just had another snow storm. How wonderful. As Renny says, I am coming back home to Switzerland this month and I am so excited! I’ll be in Zurich by the 20th and in the snow hopefully some time the next week…
Great photos you took! I’ll be sure to check back in often as you make my heart thump with joy….

As a network evangelist, I’m just so happy I could connect you

Hello Rhada!
Well, I can understand you especially if it’s foggy all throughout the Winter. Sometimes it’s hard to appreciate the beauty of nature if you see nothing.
Can’t wait for Spring too, when the flowers start to bloom. One thing I like when it’s snowing, after it snowed the sun appears for the whole day and the skies are really blue. Lovely!
Have a great week! By the way, thanks for dropping by! Hope to see you here again.

Hi RennyBA!
I had indeed a lot of fun watching the kids. I actually have videos of them falling from their sledges.
I didn’t want to be mean but I was really laughing. Then, I was tempted to join them but opted not to. I’d rather take photos. For one thing, I didn’t have a sledge. And yes, some of the parents had fun too, sledging with their children. What a happy family!
Anyway, have a great week!

Hi RennyBA!
By the way, thanks for connecting expatraveler to me! Really appreciate it!

Hello expatraveler!
First of all, thanks for dropping by!
I have been posting pictures about Weggis, especially when it was snowing. Got a lot of pictures of snow here.
Crazy me, but I just love snow!
But did you know that the day after it snowed, my husband told me when he came home that when he arrived at the office (he works in Zurich area) there was no sign of any snow in that area. But who knows, once you are here, it will snow again. Last year on March 21, 2007, I think it snowed here. I even had a video posted at weggis.net together with the 360? Weggis in Spring Video.
Anyway, enjoy your vacation in Switzerland, and hope to see you again here.
Have a great week!

Hello cacofonix!
Oy nawala yong entry mo tungkol dito. Di kaagad ako nakapag-comment e. Mag-co-comment na sana ako.
Anyway, have a great week dear!

Hello Annie!

Gintan-aw mo oman? Duroduro roman snow sa babaw it Mount Rigi. Basta tawag kaw lang kon mag-agi kaw roman dya ha. Malagaw to the max roman kita. Duro pa aton arayanan, di bala?
Nami ang sapatos, kamploy gid. I-blog ko ran one of these days. Kinahanglan ko pa i-training akon muscles sa legs nga gamit ang sapatos para maanad gid.
O shya, regards mo man ko kay klaus! Have a nice week dear!

Hi Sofie,
I love the snow din - at least when I was in Illinois… now that I’m in the sun, sometimes I miss the snow but not the ‘after-snow’ part. At least when I was in Illinois, apartment lang kami so it was ok but I know when I go to relatives they complain about constantly shoveling the driveway and all that - i guess it comes with the fun…
Anyway, nakakatuwa k’se yung anti-spam word ko is beach, so as I’m writing this I’m not thinking of the snow but actually of our Boracay days
Love,
Jennie

Hi Jen!
Well, as much as I love snow, one thing that I don’t like is cleaning the car because of snow.
When we were still renting an apartment, there was no indoor garage, so I know that kind of feeling even if it was always Erich who was cleaning the car.
Oh yeah, our Boracay days, unforgettable experience! We really had a lot of fun! Staying for more than 1 month in Boracay for free? That was just great! When are we going back there together?
Have a great week! Miss you dear!

Hello Kengkay,
Hope to see you here again.
