Spring 2008 Vacation in the Philippines

Saturday, June 14, 2008 @ 12:30 am by Sofie Hofmann

This spring season I went to the Philippines for a vacation. I left Switzerland on April 13, 2008 and then came back on May 07, 2008. Although it was spring here (still spring up to now), it was summer in the Philippines. As usual, I got sick in the Philippines because of dust and heat but it never stopped me from having fun with family and friends.

In the next few days, I will write about my travel escapades with my family and friends in the Philippines. So hang on there, and once again, virtually travel with me to Boracay Island in Aklan, Pandan in Antique, Samal Island in Davao, and Metro Manila.

Have a nice weekend everyone!

Your family looks lovely, so happy and welcoming, it must be very nice to go back there on vacation and visit them.

Oh, that first photo looks soooo inviting - Boracay here we come! *giggles*

Seriously, we were once on our way there but got pneumonia both of us (!) and had to cancel the flight tickets. Now, were thinking of going there again , we’ll see… It’s a long way from home - I live in Sweden.

    Hello Lizeth!

Nope, I went to the Philippines alone. Hub normally couldn’t go with me during the month of April coz it’s budget season.

Anyway, I’ll be posting more photos. :) Take care too!

    Hello Lifecruiser!

Yes, I always look forward for the month of April every year because that’s the time I normally go there. It’s school vacation in the Philippines, so I get to see almost all the members of the family and have fun together. :)

I’ll be blogging about Boracay soon! :)

By the way, we’ve been to Sweden in 2005. Golf courses are all over! We had fun!

    Hello Kengkay!

Ay talaga, masarap talaga sa Pinas. Naku, punta na kayo ng Boracay next time bago dumami yong mga concrete buildings. :)

Nope, I’m not from Iloilo, yong katabing probinsya, Antique.

Marami pang kuwento after this. :)

    Hi Justice!

Oh yes, sinabi mo, I really get sick every year, basta month of April and May, in the Philippines because of heat and dust but no matter what, it won’t stop me from going home, just like you.

Hehehe, bitin talaga yong 1 month. This time nga I regret na hindi ko sinagad yong one month, kasi 24 days lang. Ayaw ko na ring irebook kasi nga I got the ticket at least cheaper than the normal. I got so excited when I booked kasi e. Hahaha…
