On July 13, 2009, we went to Knightsbrook Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort in Trim, Co. Meath, Ireland and played golf at the Knightsbrook Golf Club. We left my cousin’s place in Dublin City at around 7:47am and arrived in Trim at around 8:36am. Travel time from Dublin City to Knightsbrook Golf Club in Trim took less than an hour only.
We also have been to Trim when we went to Ireland in Summer 2007 but we did not play golf then. During that time, we just went there to see the Trim Castle along the River Boyne where the movie “Braveheart” starring Mel Gibson was filmed.

On July 11, 2009, we left St. Helen’s Bay Golf Resort and went to Dublin via the main roads from Wexford to Tullow to Baltinglass to Kildare to Wicklow to Dublin. We arrived in Co. Dublin at past 3:08pm and dropped by Blanchardstown in Dublin. We arrived in Blanchardstown Centre at around 4:11pm. It took us more than an hour to reach Blanchardstown because of the heavy traffic.
We did not go directly to my cousin’s place because we wanted to go shopping first in Blanchardstown hoping to be able to buy the camera battery charger that I needed but we did not find any. We left Blanchardstown at around 6:00pm and arrived at my cousin’s place in Dublin City at around 6:20pm.

We arrived on July 09, 2009 in Rosslare Harbour, Co. Wexford, Ireland for a golf vacation. We did not book for any hotel accommodation but we read in one of the brochures and flyers that we gathered that there was a golf resort in Kilrane in Rosslare Harbour. We went straight to St. Helen’s Bay Golf Resort in Kilrane but we really had to look for it.
We arrived at St. Helen’s Bay Golf Resort in Kilrane at around 1:43pm. We inquired at the Golf Pro Shop and a nice guy showed us first the cottage. The golf course looked nice, and the cottage with kitchen, living room, dining room, and two bedrooms was surely big enough for us because it was a self-catering cottage.

We left Weggis, Switzerland at around 7:38am on July 08, 2009. We arrived in Calais, France at around 4:50pm. Travel time from our place to Calais with all the stopovers along the way in France was about 9 hours and 12 minutes.
The next available boat with Sea France from Calais Port in Calais, France to Dover Port in Dover, England was at 6:30pm. We decided to take Sea France because we liked the food at the Le Brasserie restaurant the first time we took Sea France when we went to Ireland for a golf vacation in Summer 2007.
