I went back to Manila from Pandan via Kalibo on May 1, 2008. Later that afternoon I met a very good friend of mine at Vivere Suites in Alabang and we had a good spa massage. Then we were joined by her husband, my sisters, my niece and her friends for dinner at Gilligan’s restaurant, also in Alabang.
With all the excitement I forgot to take any pictures. Even her husband who just got back from El Nido with a camera in his hand forgot to take pictures. How many times did it happen that every time we see each other, we just forgot to take our pictures together. Well, chatting was non-stop and you can be sure we were having fun, so taking photos was out of the picture.
Then I met another good friend on May 5, 2005 at the Serendra and had a nice lunch at the Abe restaurant. Then we went to Makati and visited some other friends. After that, we went to the shopping areas like Rustan’s and Glorietta. Again, no photos with my friend when we were out.

I have been to Davao before, when I was assigned there for work. So when I heard that Beng will settle in the Philippines and that is in Davao, I called her up. I told her that I will try to visit her if ever I will go to the Philippines in April.

The barangay fiesta was over, some people have a hang-over, but not me. I did not attend the beach party of Baybay on the second night as I planned to go to Malumpati the next day just to unwind and relax before leaving for Manila. As usual, it was bonding time with my big family.

I could not write anything after what happened in our town because of the typhoon Frank. I heard that it was flooding in our town too. I was worried as I was not able to contact my family in the province. I know, nothing really bad happened to them as I already talked to some members of our family who are not residing in Pandan. But then, I really wanted to talk to my mother. Finally, I was able to talk to my sister-in-law and my mother this morning.
