Merry, Merry Christmas to everyone

Wishing you a very Blessed Merry Merry Christmas and a very Prosperous Happy Happy New Year!

We had our family dinner on the 23rd instead of the 24th of December. Then yesterday, we had “Fondue Chinoise” for our Christmas Eve dinner as I did not like to prepare a lot. It was simple but we had enough. I felt like I could not eat dessert anymore. So I waited a little bit long and really took a long time to finish my red wine before serving the dessert. Tonight, we will just go out for dinner as I normally do not like to cook during Christmas.

Again, Merry, Merry Christmas to everyone!

Christmas Tree, Christmas Wishes

Christmas Tree Blog Parade

It is traditional here to decorate the Christmas tree on the 24th of December but we did not wait for today to decorate it. We bought our Christmas tree on Saturday and decorated it yesterday.

Christmas Wishes

Good Health

I wish and pray for good health for my mother, that she will be able to celebrate and enjoy many more Christmases, and of course birthdays. I also wish for good health for me and Hub, for my family, for my friends, and for everyone out there reading this blog, whoever you are.

Happiness

I wish and pray for both Hub and I, that we will always be happy all throughout our life. I wish and pray the same for my family, my friends, and for everyone out there.

Peace on Earth

I wish and pray that may peace reign on earth, that people will settle their differences and forget about wars regardless of their belief and religion. Peace to everyone!

For material things, I have a lot in my mind but I am not writing them here. 🙂

Three Things that I will never let go

It has been a long time since I was tagged but I promised Thess that I will do it but probably next year. I changed my mind, so I’m doing it now.

Three things that I will never let go (3 Things that I won’t let go)

LOVE

1 Corinthians Chapter 13 Verses 4-8

Love is patient and kind, it envies no one and is no jealous. It does not try to compete with the other person.

Love is not too proud to ask for forgiveness and does not keep a record of the wrongs. It can forget, and give the other person a new chance.

Love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth, it does not cover up the wrong but clarifies, and solves, and forgives.

Love does not sell the truth just to obtain. It is never unjust.

Love has a limitless hope, it does not give up the other person, but believes in God’s powerful changing love.

Love endures everything, it can bear the pain, and it can bear the unjust.

Love conquers everything. Love never comes to an end.

You all know the text. I have always believe in it. I hope to be able to really practice it but I am not perfect.

For one thing, I’m not a candidate for martyrdom. 😆

HOPE

I always hope. I always think positively regardless of the situation. I am always optimistic. But sometimes it’s just so difficult especially if I think about the politics in the Philippines. But I have learned to accept reality. Nevertheless, I will not stop hoping. I still have hope that our youth will someday make a difference for the betterment of the people.

FAITH

I have always faith in God. For me having faith in God is giving me strength to overcome all the challenges in life. He’s giving me direction, what path should I follow so as not to go astray. He is the one that I always turn to when everything I carry is heavy. And He would lift up my burdens.

I thank God everyday for all the blessings that He has given to me. I thank God everyday for having a loving husband. I thank God everyday for having a loving family. I thank God everyday for having nice friends. I thank God everyday for everything.

God bless you all! Enjoy the rest of the week!

If you feel like doing this tag, feel free to do it. 🙂

Our summer vacation in Ireland

We went to Ireland in Summer for a golf vacation.

We were able to go around the city of Dublin, at the North of the Liffey, and walked along the popular O’Connell Street.

We were also able to go around Southeast Dublin. We were able to walk along the River Liffey. We have crossed the Ha’penny Bridge and visited to Trinity College.

We were also able to go around Southwest Dublin. We were able to visit the Christ Church Cathedral, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Dublin Castle.

We had dinners at the Temple Bar area and at the highest pub in Ireland, the ever popular Johnnie Fox’s Pub in Glencullen.

We have played golf at Charlesland Golf Club, Delgany Golf Club, Arklow Golf Club, and Killeen Golf Club.

We were able to go shopping at Blanchardstown. We were able to go for a Wicklow sightseeing tour up to the military road. We were able to see the Powerscourt Waterfall.

We were able to go to The K Club in Kildare and watched the professional golfers playing at the Smurfit Kappa European Open. We even saw Colin Montgomerie, quite a tall guy.

We were able to go to the Guinness Storehouse, the Home of Guinness, located in the heart of the St. James’s Gate Brewery.

We were able to go to Trim in Meath county at The Midlands to see the Trim Castle, the location of Mel Gibson’s film Braveheart in 1995.

Our golf vacation in Ireland in Summer was really great!
