Simple Happiness

The Switzerland National Football Team is back. A lot of Swiss are sad because the Swiss Team lost against Ukraine last night. I may not have seen all the games and how they played but I have the impression that they played well based on what I have heard and read.

Just getting qualified to the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany was tough enough already considering that it was just the second time that the Swiss National Football Team made it to Round 2 after 1960. The first time that the Swiss National Football Team got qualified up to Round 2 after 1960 was in 1994.

I would like to congratulate the Swiss National Football Team for a job well done! There will always be a next time!

HOPP SCHWIIZ! Literally translated as UP SWITZERLAND! I would rather say GO SWITZERLAND!

The weather is nice for more than a week now. It was not that sunny all the time but you can go out wearing t-shirt and shorts.

During the week, it also rained but it was not that bad. I still would say that the weather was nice.

Downtown Jazz or “Jazz im Unterdorf” is an open air live jazz band mini concert along the street from 8:00 to 11:00 in the evening. It is normally being held once a month during Wednesdays from May until August.
