Golf, Grimsel Pass, Furka Pass

It was a sunny day today, yesterday, and the days before yesterday. It is nice to play golf and we actually started playing golf last week.

I am always excited to play golf. I am always excited to go to Obergesteln which is at least an hour and a half drive via Furka Pass. We would always pass through Furka Pass but this time we have to travel via Grimsel Pass which is 2 hours and 15 minutes drive from our place.

Short Hair, Rose, Blog, Tag

I need a break and I am rambling. Anyway, I had my hair cut the day I left the Philippines, and so, most of those in the Philippines saw me with my long hair. I also wanted to have a photo with my new hairdo and with the rose that Hub gave me.

Ok now, I am not really into blogging but this is one way of updating my relatives and friends especially those in the Philippines who are not into Friendster, Hi5, Skype, Yahoo Messenger, etc. but I read blogs. It was because of a blog that I was actually found by a college friend I have not seen for almost 20 years. I normally do not write any comment in any blog. I just wrote one comment in one blog, and there you are, Atinna found me. Hallelujah!

So, why did I mention Atinna? Well, I was tagged by Atinna.

Instructions: Name 10 of life’s simple pleasures that you like the most, then pick 10 people to do the same. Try to be original and creative, and not to use things someone else has already used.

I am back from the Philippines

I am back from a month vacation in the Philippines. Yes, I was alone, Hub did not go with me. Hub and I were in the Philippines last January 3-17, 2006 but on April 16, 2006, I went back to the Philippines alone. I arrived here Tuesday night, May 16, 2006.

It was fun but as usual I got sick on my last ten remaining days because of heat. I ended up staying at home doing nothing other than eating, watching television, and reading books. I finished reading Island Girl by Dr. Cesar Martinez, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, and The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
