Spring in March

Is Winter really over and Spring is really here? We experienced the right Winter this Winter season as it was almost always snowing for the whole time this Winter. What about this Spring? Will we have the right Spring this Spring season?

Most of us are looking forward for the Spring but how sure are we that Spring is already here when it snowed last Tuesday. But alas, today is a great day! All I see outside and above are white clouds and blue sky!

The Dancing Stingray of SEA.LIFE in Constance, Germany

Have you seen a stingray dancing? I actually saw several stingrays dancing playfully last Saturday. The Swiss Sea-Angling Club where hub belongs had a meeting in Constance. I always go with him every time they have a meeting, not to attend the meeting but just to enjoy the place where the meeting is normally being held just like last Saturday.

We went to SEA LIFE in Constance (Konstanz), Germany last Saturday, March 14, 2009. It was about an hour and forty minutes from Weggis, Switzerland to Constance (Konstanz), Germany. Constance is located along the Lake of Constance known here as “Bodensee”.

After the meeting, we went around SEA LIFE to see a myriad of marine creatures. Afterwards, we had our dinner at SEA LIFE but not at the restaurant though. We had our dinner right at the North Sea Bed where different kinds of baby sharks, rays, and fishes were swimming on the big round aquarium. It was definitely a great experience surrounded by those creatures while having dinner. The baby sharks, the fishes, and the rays were really good entertainers like the stingray above in the video.

There’s a variety of exotic and colorful creatures at SEA LIFE aside from the baby sharks, rays, and fishes. So, if you like marine animals, you might like visiting this place in the future. The children will definitely have a learning and exciting experience in this natural museum. For more information, view the website of SEA LIFE at www.sealife.de.

Dancing Stingray Video, SEA LIFE, Constance, Germany

This is another attempt on videography. This is the first time that I use Mac’s iMovie. The other videos I did for Weggis.net were edited using the Microsoft’s Moviemaker. The other videos were not properly edited as I did not really explore Moviemaker which I think has very limited editing features as well. Mac’s iMovie is not that super advanced either but at least a little bit better than Microsoft’s Moviemaker.

The video is about the dancing stingray of SEA LIFE in Constance, Germany. Constance is located along the Lake of Constance known as “Bodensee”.

I actually mixed two video clips in this short entertaining movie. I just removed the noise on the video clips and replaced it with the music by Apple entitled 44th Street Long. Not bad really with regard to the timing of the stingray dancing.

What did I use to take this video? I just used an ordinary point and shoot digital camera with the fine and video size 640×360 which is like an HD format.

Just to let you know, I use iMovie as of now, but later on, I will try to use Final Cut Express for more advanced features. For the meantime while I am practicing and experimenting, I’ll make use of Mac’s iMovie first.

Wish me luck on my videography adventures! 🙂

Updated on March 19, 2009
I just checked my point and shoot digital camera and the video size was actually 640×480. When I imported it, it was also saved in another format, 640×360. Then when I edited and exported the final video output, I saved it in 640×360.

On shame and sending messages from God

Most of my blogger friends and readers may have observed that I normally don’t write about my faith and religion. I love God so dearly and I am not at all ashamed of my faith and religion no matter what other people say. My relationship with God is my private matter and it will remain that way until the end of time.

Why am writing about this? It has something to do with all the messages we have received about the so-called messages from God. It has nothing to do with the people sending the messages but the people who originally sent the messages and according to them from God and being passed on from one person to another in different forms like via email or via social media.

I noticed something and usually at the end of the messages, and I just don’t agree with it.

This is not complete but normally it says or something like this:

Please do not be ashamed to follow the instruction. “If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father!” If you are not ashamed, send this message, only if you believe.

What was the person thinking when writing this, “I will be ashamed of you before my Father!”?
